Mexican Peso Strengthens as February U.S. Jobs Data Boosts Outlook


Mexico’s peso had its first increase in four days after a report showed companies in the U.S. boosted hiring, improving the economic outlook for the Latin American country.
The peso gained 0.3 percent to 12.9610 per U.S. dollar from 13.0011 yesterday. The currency is up 7.5 percent this year.
