Javier Malagon, Chief Financial Officer for BBVA in Mexico,
said in a press conference that Mexico’s contribution reached one-third in the first six months of 2011, while all of South America contributed 18%, Eurasia zone 15% and the USA 5%. In this last term, the profit from BBVA Bancomer Mexico grew 10.1% when compared to the same term in 2010, reaching MXP$14.775 billion.
