Economy Minister Says that Mexico is to Remain Competitive
Mexico is well-positioned to remain competitive despite uncertainties in the global economy, including the possibility of slower U.S. growth, Mexico's economy minister said Thursday. Ferrari said he expects Mexico's economy to grow between 3.8% and 4% in 2011. The minister said the Bank of Mexico has indicated that there are no plans to intervene in the foreign exchange market to support the peso.
